Document field visits
CM 20 Field Reports brings field notes, project information, and site photos into a class report library.
Organize laboratory work
CM 40 Material Testing and Custom Lab Reports help students organize measurements and fillable report sections. Custom reports support a copy-and-paste ChatGPT prompt and JSON import workflow using professor-provided instructions.
Keep reports with your account
Sign in to access your private workspace, school profile, stored reports, and authorized collaborators. Public visitors can read this page and our policies without an account.
Optional Google Drive recovery backup
Connect Google Drive from Profile to store a recovery copy of your CM 20 report library in the app's private Drive data area. This copy can include the field notes and photos saved in that library. The app requests only access to its own app data; it does not request access to your other Drive files. Drive backup is optional and separate from primary account storage.
Google sign-in identifies your account. Connecting Google Drive is a separate permission that you control in Profile.
About and support
CM Hub Works is operated by Craig Kenison as an independent educational project. It is not an official university service. Questions or account assistance: craigkenison@gmail.com.
CM Hub Works Privacy Policy
Effective September 19, 2026. Operator and privacy contact: Craig Kenison, craigkenison@gmail.com.
Information the app collects
CM Hub Works stores account identifiers, name, email address, role, selected school, account status, and authentication information needed to maintain your session. When you use the workspace, it stores the reports, notes, measurements, photos, uploaded files, imported report definitions, and sharing choices you submit. Operational records include timestamps, storage usage, backup status, and administrative audit events.
Google account information and Drive access
If you choose Google sign-in, your Google identity and verified email are used to create or identify your CM Hub Works account. Google passwords are not collected by CM Hub Works. If you separately connect Drive, the app receives authorization tokens and requests the drive.appdata permission to manage only its own private application data in your Drive. It does not request access to unrelated Drive documents, Gmail, or contacts.
The Drive integration uploads and updates a recovery copy of your saved CM 20 field-report library, including notes and any photos contained in that backup. It stores connection time, a recovery file identifier, last backup time, and error status. Refresh tokens are stored encrypted on the server to allow subsequent backup updates. Google Drive is optional; your primary report storage remains in the CM Hub Works account system.
How information is used
Information is used to authenticate users, provide report editing and storage, synchronize supported class libraries, enforce sharing permissions, create requested recovery copies, resolve account issues, and maintain service security. Google user data is used to provide these user-facing features, not for advertising or training general-purpose AI models.
Storage, service providers, and sharing
The live CM Hub Works service stores and processes account and report information on a Synology NAS operated by Craig Kenison. Migration exports and recovery backups may also be retained on the operator's devices and in the previous hosting service, AppDeploy. When Drive is connected, recovery data is also sent to Google Drive under your authorization. Report access is provided to collaborators according to the permissions assigned in the app. Administrators manage users, security, sharing, and storage metadata; the operator may access information when needed for support or maintenance. Information may also be disclosed when legally required. CM Hub Works does not sell personal information or share Google user data for advertising.
Browser storage and security
The app uses session cookies or browser session storage mechanisms for authentication and local browser storage, including IndexedDB, for device recovery copies. Use a trusted device and sign out when finished on a shared computer. HTTPS protects data in transit; access controls protect account functions. No storage or transmission method can guarantee absolute security.
Retention and deletion
Account and report data is retained to provide the workspace until removed through available controls or a deletion request. To request account, report, uploaded-file, or backup deletion, email the privacy contact from your account email; identity may need to be confirmed. Some operational records may need to be retained for security or legal requirements. Device copies are separate and can be removed by clearing this site's browser data.
Use Profile → Disconnect Drive to remove the app's stored Drive connection and stop future backups; this does not delete your CM Hub account reports or automatically erase an existing Drive recovery copy. You can also revoke access through your Google Account's third-party connections settings. To remove the stored Drive app data, use Google Drive's Manage apps controls where available, or contact us for help. Revoking authorization and deleting stored data are separate actions.
ChatGPT copy-and-paste workflow
Custom report setup generates a prompt that you choose whether to copy into ChatGPT. This workflow does not automatically send your report materials to ChatGPT. Anything you independently submit to another service is governed by that service's policies; import only content you are permitted to use.
Your choices and policy updates
You may use the app without connecting Drive, manage report sharing, disconnect integrations, and request correction or deletion by contacting us. Do not upload personal information about others without permission. Updates to this policy will be posted on this public page with a revised effective date.
CM Hub Works' use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
CM Hub Works Terms of Service
Effective September 19, 2026.

CM Hub Works is an independent educational report tool operated by Craig Kenison. You remain responsible for the accuracy of reports, course requirements, and appropriate use of any technical standards or imported templates. Your account and content
Keep your account secure and upload only content you have permission to use.
